OGSystems, a premier technology services organization serving the national security community, seeks to hire experienced senior systems engineers focused on delivering unparalleled value in the analysis, design, development and integration of complex information systems and advanced information and data architectures.
The ideal candidate brings experience in the Intelligence Community as well as an understanding of the principles, concepts, methodologies, frameworks, and tools for analyzing and evaluating existing or proposed operations and sustainment systems. Performs needs analyses to define opportunities for new or improved business process solutions for transitioning organizations to managed services following the Information Technology Infrastructure Library best practices and processes. Identifies and specifies business requirements for new or enhanced delivery and support systems and develops basic capability specifications (configuration management database, asset management, service desk, etc). Advises on the merits of proposed systems development projects and applies a structured systems analysis approach to the design and development of new or enhanced applications and processes.
Writes and maintains user documentation. Ensures the integration of procedures, policies, software, and databases). Assesses policy needs and develops policies to govern IT management activities. Defines current and future business environments. Prepares IT budgets and manages IT investment portfolios. Conducts audits of IT programs and projects; and/or ensures the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of planning and management services.
