OGSystems seeks to hire senior systems engineers focused on delivering analysis, design, development, and integration of complex information/data architectures and systems. The ideal candidate brings experience in the Intelligence Community as well as an understanding of the principles, concepts, methodologies, frameworks, and tools for analyzing and evaluating existing or proposed systems (presentation, applications, information technology, data, network) as well as related procedures and process maturity/lifecycle models.
- Elicits, analyzes, verifies, and validates business, functional, data, and security requirements. Leads risk/opportunity management activities. Analyzes and refines functional and technical requirements for mission area and supporting management systems/technology.
- Translates systems requirements into use cases, functional capabilities, performance measures, and implementation specifications.
- Performs cost analyses and develops economic comparison criteria for use in selecting capabilities; performs independent assessments and analytical cost/benefit trade studies.
- Evaluates and assures enterprise management capabilities, enterprise interdependencies, defined and managed associated gaps, and enterprise changes for operational and performance impacts for N-tier (ASP/ISP and services).
- Writes and maintains program documentation and deliverables.
- Ensures information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices are an integral element of the operating environment.
- Plans and maps needs to existing and new components; defines interfaces and assesses schedule dependencies and milestones.
- Evaluates new systems engineering tools, methods, and effect on the operating environment.
- Assesses and recommends hardware/software components for enterprise management.
- Analyzes and fine-tunes network/data throughput and performance metrics, monitors capacity and performance, diagnoses and resolves network problems, assesses and develops enterprise backup/recovery procedures, evaluates enterprise performance using hardware and software diagnostic tools.
- Analyzes and defines network requirements, standards and protocols as well as SLOs/SLAs where applicable.
- Participates in planning and delivery of new capabilities (mission/enterprise management).
- Evaluates new applications and technologies. Ensures the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices to the delivery of systems integration processes and capabilities to include certification and accreditation of new technologies.
