OGSystems, a premier technology services organization serving the national security community, seeks to hire experienced system analysts focused on delivering unparalleled value in the analysis, design, development and integration of complex information systems and advanced information and data architectures.
The ideal candidate brings experience in the Intelligence Community as well as an understanding of the principles, concepts, methodologies, frameworks, and tools for analyzing and evaluating existing or proposed systems (presentation, applications, information technology, data, network transport) as well as related procedures and process maturity models – systems that process and manage technical assets, data, information and knowledge.
Analyzes and defines network requirements, standards and protocols as well as SLOs/SLAs where applicable. Analyzes network throughput and performance. Monitors network capacity and performance. Diagnoses and resolves network problems. Develops network backup and recovery procedures. Evaluates network performance using hardware and software diagnostic tools. Participates in planning and installation of new capabilities (mission and enterprise management). Evaluates ASP/ISP and network changes for operational and performance impacts. Performs cost analyses and develops economic comparison criteria for use in selecting capabilities or defining benchmarks; performs independent assessments and analytical cost/benefit trade studies.
Performs needs analyses to define new or improved business process solutions and work flows. Consults with customers and users to identify and specify systems integration requirements. Conducts business operations assessments; supports feasibility studies and trade-off analyses. Prepares business sequence and use cases for the application of solutions. Defines scope, objectives, and performance metrics. Supports development of cost estimates for new or modified systems. Ensures the integration of all systems components (e.g., procedures, databases, policies, software, and hardware). Plans enterprise management systems and capabilities integration and ensures the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices to the systems analysis process.
