Systems Engineer

Description:

OGSystems seeks candidates to provide system development support for our classified customer and the following position requires candidates with these qualities: self- starter, strong team player, able to adapt to dynamic environment, ability to complete tasks independently without oversight, and strong communication and customer support skills.

Position works closely with the Government customer and other Systems Engineers to identify and execute initiatives to help realize the architectural vision on individual software development task orders. Must have experience applying Systems Engineering Best Practices as well as with the Project Management Framework.

Required Skills:
• Software and system architecture development
• Software/system requirement specification and management
• Object-oriented analysis, design, and architectural patterns with UML
• Agile methods, preferably with Scrum
• Network Architecture and Design
• Disaster Recovery/High Availability
• Cloud computing
• Familiar with Configuration Management, automated testing, and Quality Assurance; Oracle and/or Sybase; and with Rally, HP Quality Center, and HP Service Desk
