The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, Source Operations and Management Directorate, would like
to recognize the exceptional contributions and performance of Ms. Nadia Balkissoon during the period of
May 2010 – September 2010. Nadia has and continues to play a key role in developing the LIDAR program.
The NSG LIDAR team, for which Nadia is a key member, continues to face considerable challenges executing
program plans, securing funding and executing and defending this new sensor phenomenology. This has been
a very complex process and is critically important to NGA’s mission. Nadia’s outstanding efforts have
positively contributed to the operationalizing of the processing, exploitation, and production architecture
supporting this new sensing and exploitation capability. Nadia’s professionalism, dedication and skills
were showcased through her outstanding support to numerous Deployment and Operational Readiness Reviews.
The Deployment Readiness Reviews in support of the ALIRT program would not have happened without Nadia!
Nadia’s desire to learn program management real-time and her perseverance has been instrumental to the
success of the LIDAR program. In my opinion Nadia is to be commended for her dedication and should be
given the more important assignments.

Mr. Chuck Snowden, I would like to echo my thanks for an excellent job. We often take for granted how difficult

react very quickly from a deployment that was supposed to go to SOUTHCOM and redirect to NGIC. In addition I
